Hello:

Why does it only cost a man $25.00 for a hair cut and
nearly $100.00 for a woman?

I think this is discrimination and I never really liked that
they soak women like that.

It's the same with clothing and shoes, women will invariably
pay a much higher premium for clothing then men. I think this
is wrong, unfortunately there isn't much I can do about it.

The reason I thought of this today is because I was out
shopping for a shoot and womens clothing and shoes are
outrageously priced. Especially for good quality items.

Any thoughts on this matter?

you get what you pay for.

i think it would be wrong to charge a man and woman different amounts for the same haircut when they have the same lentgh hair.

however, you don;t often see men getting crazy hairstyles that take an hour to cut, and rarely see women with very short, simple hair that just need a trim.

haircuts should be based entirely on difficulty and length of time needed.

25 bucks for a haircut? That's outrageous! I'd never pay that much for a haircut. tongue

Depends on where you go. I get my hair cut for 12 bucks (I'm a woman) and I'm happy with it. I don't think it's practical to shell out 100 bucks just to go to Gadabout. I could be using that money on shoes dammit! lol.

I pay $0.00 (well I guess there is the electricity to factor in) for my haircuts. My wife pulls out the clippers once a month, buzzes my head, and I'm a happy camper.

Im glad im in college......The Ultimate Hustle for a black guy is someone who can CUT HAIR. I know I can get someone who charges 5 or less and have a hot cut.

If they knew how much they were worth.....LOL lets just say im glad they dont.
