Hi all,

Im looking into knocking up a portfolio PDF in indesign and just wondered how everyone else displays there before and afters. I was hoping to make mine somewhat interactive to show the before and afters, but i cant for the life of me find a tutorials online to do something of the sort. Ive seen stuff like hoverovers and sliding function on images to desiplay them int he past but i cant figure how to create them myself.

If anyones got any advice on doing this or even id love to hear how you display or structure yours

Cheers
Niall

I've done them with the old Image Ready program, but not for a PDF.
Also, made animated GIFs the same way, they can be made to dissolve
from before to after in about 3 seconds and are very effective too.
I think Fireworks is the best option now.

edit: after looking, it seems that is easily done in InDesign.

If you're going to do it, just create a page in InDesign, import the images the size you want and export the page as a PDF.

Not sure what advantage the PDF has over just combining stuff in Photoshop and saving as a JPG. In fact, the PDF is more complicated to view for most people.
