I have a few images takes before a tiled wall, with grout marks visible. Is there any way I can change the background to total white on Lightroom (no marks visible)

A speedy response would be totally appreciated.

Without seeing the images the universal speedy answer to all questions is "Maybe".

A lot depends on the light. If the background can be isolated by luminosity or by any other channel, some tweaks could be possible but perhaps (and most probably) it will be far from good result.

I don't use lightroom but you could use something similar to the healing brush in PS or just copy the color of the wall and paint over the grout marks then adjust the levels to make the BG white.

I wouldn't even think about doing this in LR. The image has quite a few things to change anyway so this is clearly PS work.

I'm not sure you can do that very well in Lightroom, but I brought the file into Photoshop, drew a lasso around everything but her, added an 8 px Gaussian blur and I had a smooth wall (took less than 30 seconds), then you can do whatever you want with the colour. The lasso doesn't have to be very exact, except where the grout lines are touching her, but I don't think there's way to duplicate that in LR.

You could use the clone/healing tool to remove the grout lines, then the brush to alter the background, but it is a clumsy process that is unlikely to yield the results that you can achieve in photoshop.
