How to achieve this skintone
Hi guys! Can someone explain to me how can I achieve this skin tone? Or how i must lighting if i want this skin Appreciate the help! Thanks Mar 01 16 04:21 pm Link Hey! I think this skin tone can be easily achieved via the Selective Color Layer Adjustment (playing with the reds and yellow and making it all more reddish). You can also use the Hue/Sat Layer Adjustment as well. There also seem to be some yellow tones in the highlights; so in the Selective Color Layer Adjustment take the whites and add some slight yellow toning in it. Hope this helps ^_^ -Tia Mar 01 16 06:55 pm Link Why do you want to achieve an unnatural/orange skin tone.?? Mar 02 16 02:37 pm Link Both images look as if they are globally shifted towards yellow/orange. Mar 02 16 02:46 pm Link It's warmed up and then desaturated. The models probably have a good tan to begin with. Mar 02 16 06:58 pm Link Underexposing the skin during the shot would help get this tone out of the camera. So, in post try and follow that same idea. Use exposure to tone down the skin (mask it). Of course it matters a lot on how the original image was shot. I also feel like the clarity slider in Lightroom (or something similar) was pulled into the negative on that skin. I agree with the others the skin color/tone is kind of "off." I would look to achieve that feel, but not necessarily that tone. Good luck! Mar 08 16 07:48 pm Link The Invisible Touch wrote: I have my reasons.
