Hi,

I realise that the pictures are not fashion/portrait etc... But what techniques can i use in photoshop to achieve this look.

My guess is that most is done in camera, the reflections etc very difficult to Photoshop and keep them looking real. As for the background extract the main subject and a some kind of blur, maybe a median or a dust and scratches, found under noise in the filter drop down. Add some noise to match the main subject. Desaturate, as they appear to be very much a neutral grey. Clip a curves adjustment layer, drop the right hand point (input 255) to an lower output value, add a mask to this layer to create a vignette or a soft gradient or for the table lamps add a sharper transition in the mask to give the look of the table edge. Adjust the output value until you're happy.
