Stumbled upon this site:

http://fluideffect.com/

Check out the before/after section. Some well done, some not.

Oh wow! Some had a lot done to them. Some things that were photo shopped out like a mole seems silly to me. Unless the subject wanted it that way.

Of course, silly...  smile

I always say this:

"Facial:  $100
Gym membership:  $50
Hair & makeup:  $XYZ
Organic food:  $XYZ

You are as perfect as it comes; for the rest, there is Photoshop".  smile

Someday I'll develop the patience to do that kind of retouching,  until then feel free to check out this before-after sample of one of my recent shoots.

On the Fluid Effect site it sure looks like some of the "before" pictures were photoshopped to look worse ..... creating the illusion of much more and better clean-up than may actually be the truth.

Just my opinion,

Evan

It's still quite a bit of work to Photoshop out skin defects, which is why we'd rather have a subject with flawless skin tone before taking a shot...

...so let the insecurities continue. =^)

I was surprised as well at the poor quality of some of the original photography.
