Seems like it. A few girls I know who really arent even models opened profiles here and got more emails for work in one day (most of it paid) then I have received in nearly a month. Whats that all about?

Think about reaching out to the models. Often they are the ones that are used to having photographers get in contact with them.

I am the exception to that rule, and I know that because when I started making my portfolio (you can see the more commercial one on omp link) I contacted the best photographers I could, and they were all thrilled (even the most skilled ones) to be contacted by a model.

Now that I rarely do tfp, I do tend to let photographers contact me as I don't find it in good taste to 'push' my modeling on them, though whenever a photographer is traveling through my area or a new member shows up (this is on omp where you get notifications) I do let them know I am interested in working with them if I like something about their work or if they mention that they pay models.

I dunno... I've been contacted for shoots by models about as much as I've contacted models to work with them. In a month, 7 models.. And I've canvased about 10 or so..

Seems fairly even to me. About what I was expecting. ;o)
