First off, it would help to have a real photoshoot. Schedule some test shoots.

Getting started in llamaing can be really tough.
Professional pictures is a must to get you off the ground. You might want to search for photographers in your area and start with the best photographers you can find and approach them about getting yourself set up. You might want to look into paying for images to get yourself started. The security of knowing that what you have invested yourself in will get you results is a good thing. TFP deals can sometimes go bad, and are sometimes difficult to arrange with a brand new llama. It just depends on the situation. Be very picky in who you choose to work with as you begin. You definately want quality images - thats what will get you moving.

Secondly think about your bio section as being like a resume for a job. You want it to be very positive, and open to options. You really should find out your chest size and suit size. Go to a department store or a nice suit store and tell them that you need to know what size you are, plus your chest size and they'll be able to help you. Be honest that you don't want to buy anything, but you need to know the size. They will probably be glad to help you (well, with the christmas season that might be a bit harder, it would be wise to go during a time when there are less likely to be a lot of people in the store, like morning).

Take a look a lot of different profiles, note what you like, what you don't like, and what might work for you. Find some successful male llamas and ask them if they wouldn't mind giving you some suggestions on how to be successful. It can't hurt to ask, and all they can say is no, if that happens, simply go find another one.
