I'm setting up a shoot and everything's going great when I tell her "I do not allow escorts on my shoots" She wigs out and tells me, "How dare you call me a hooker!" Before I could clarify my statement, I was blocked. Perhaps from now on I should use the word "Chaperone"

What? Why do people adapt such attitudes! Dont worry about it, she obviously isnt professional, or commited if she acts like that! She could of atleast been adult about it, and let you explain, or say she wasnt comfortable not having a chaperone!

Please tell me you're kidding lol. I think this might relate to the other "escort" thread. The Ford Escort.

this reminds me of the time I told a model that I was going to 'shoot' her in an open field. She spoke very little english and her eyes got real wide and started to back away from me.. took a little while to explain that I was going to use a camera.. ;o)

I saved this little gem from a model's profile on OMP: "Accomplice may be present but will not interfere with shoots."

Perhaps from now on I should use the word "Chaperone" I also thought that this could have been a language issue, except for the fact that the model was immediately familiar with two slang words for a prostitute: "Escort" and "Hooker". Perhaps it was more the result of inexperience and lack of terminology knowledge.

Why would you imply she was a hooker? She already felt like a hooker. So why would you bring it up? You should have dove onto your knees and begged for forgiveness proclaiming that it was all a misunderstanding.

LMAO! How old was she? At least you didn't have to wind up working with her. It sucks getting stuck with someone who snaps like that and has such an attitude. Not to mention immature.

But yeah, seriously, I think we should get rid of that word "escort" and use a word like "chaperone" instead.

Bwahahahahahahaha! AT least she flipped out before the shoot. She likely would have found some reason to go off on you on the set!
