.....my early morning observation, that I'm sure won't be interesting when I fully wake up, or to those that are fully awake for that matter; you can tell lot by the friends that one keeps here on MM. All the photogs that are here to shoot T&A have, almost exclusively, women in nearly naked shots as their friends, for example. The fashion photogs, don't.......just my morning rant.

Well, you see, a lot of people try to make "friends" on here with people they have an interest in working with.  Or at least someone whose work appeals to them.. And I would assume most are doing the type of work that appeals to them themselves.

Weird, I know.

Are you kidding?!

You mean photographers and models with an interest in similiar genres are on each others' friend lists? No freakin' way!

(Is that a bad thing?)

I'm a fashion photographer and frankly I love naked women as much as anybody else. I don't shoot glam, but I'm not here to find models for testing, either.

Hey...I never thought of that.  Now I have two reasons for all the T & A shots on my friends' list!  How cool is that?

I don't get it.  Are you saying that fashion photographers treat models as inanimate objects?

I just noticed that photographers tend to have more models on their friends list. Conversely, models seem to have more photographers on their lists.  *Raise your hand if you think that's weird.*

Yeah.  I think it is much easier for people to stick together when they are naked than when they have their clothes on--especially when it is hot.

Ever notice that most of the people who hang out in cop bars are police officers?  Seems that most of the people who hang out in gay bars are attracted to the same sex.  Isn't that just weird? tongue

Well it's a logistical thing. For example, I only shoot Food and Product shots and I find them so unresponsive when I send a friend request...so I have to settle for models.

How is this news at 11?

Wouldn't you be-friend and network with people that are posing for the same shots you're shooting?

If this was still life mayhem I've expect to see a lot of photographer with apples and Vases as their primary friends.

Methinks this was a badly veiled swipe at the T and A guys and gals.
