I'm currently searching for a new agency...I'm with SD Model Management but in 8 months I've had a total of 3 castings and no gigs.  Wondering if anyone else from the San Diego area can recommend a strong agency they've either worked with or have heard about.

No Ties or Shamon Frietas. Shamon Freitas is definitely more commercial.

But the reality is that there is not a whole lot going on in San Diego as far as local bookings.

That really is the truth.  I don't there is a "top agency" in San Diego.  You need to head up to LA to work regularly.

Pamela Ford at Nouveau Model in La Jolla is very good. I also like Pam Pahnke at Elegance in Carlsbad.

I'd recommend No Ties as I work with them (albeit as a photographer not a model).
But I would say, that although they're physically in San Diego, they aren't necessarily booking girls for jobs within San Diego. Also, the girls don't necessarily live in San Diego either.
