People on this site always complain about cliche' pictures and a lack of originality.  So what's original?  Post shots you've taken that YOU think pushes the creative boundaries.  I'd love to see how creative MM  models and photographers and MUA/ Stylists are since apparantly EVERYTHING is cliche.

I believe that would be a water sprite.

Looking more closely at it, you might be right.   But is it riding a fish?  Do they do that?  smile

Well, I don't know how cliche 'mirror' shots are. I don't really view this as the typical 'mirror' shot, though. It's a bit different. I haven't seen anything too similar to it. And it seems to get a lot of attention whereever I post it. Most of you have probably already seen this as my avatar, but it'll have to do. I don't feel like going to grab anything outside of my MM port.

being a water sprite I would guess that they did.

That's because it's all been done before, nothing wrong with that as long as you put your own spin on it.Every time someone starts bitching about  a "Cliche",just go to their profile and see what they do,same old things everybody is doing ,but to them they think they are the first.Yeah, right!
It ain't what you do ,it is how you do it!

Oh I KNOW this.  I'm sure they do to.  I'm just giving them a chance to strut their creative stuff.  We spend so much time bitching in forums it's about time we showed and proved  with images.  A forum full of great picture is much more fun than a forum full of whiny know it alls.

I know that statue.  It's Tritan or somebody.  You know, the Greek sea god.

Here's two from a shoot that I've been planning for for awhile. I just had to find the right photographer to actually take the photos (given that all the poses were done nude and well, um.... as you can see I was in some VERY compromising positions. LOL  These would have been nearly impossible to do as self portraits as I had to hold each pose for about 10 minutes).  I am really happy with how they came out. For the second one, I'm considering editing it again to include more of a "frame" around the image.

I was blown away by this one..but you're saying you just put 3 images together???
Am I gullible to believe someone is so dedicated to their art that they would actually set this shot up?

Talk about original!  Now, this one (and so many others in your port, Noah) will leave me thinking about them for awhile!  Did you mean for the IV bag to look like a uterus and the lines to look like fallopian tubes?

its not about dedication...its about freedom which in my case depends on some green papers that I have to work my a$$ off 6 days a week more than 10 hrs a day...else I'd be that dedicated big_smile

the final shot is what matters.  if the image is so well done that you had to be TOLD it was a composite, then what's your complaint?
