There was a thread about this somewhere, but I can't find it. Anyway, here's two links...

Look somewhat similar to me, to say the least.

Too simple. Nude model + pose. Kinda hard not to overlap that. Not a lot of creative complexity in the first place.

I'm the model in the first pic, taken last year. The second shot was uploaded recently to someone else's portfolio. Same pose, same lighting, hair position, eyes closed...exact. sad

On the plus side though Katy the copy isn't even a good one.

The model is clearly not to your standards!

Last I heard, he was planning on doing a book. Wonder if that'll be featured in it?

Copying pix is bad bad bad bad bad!!!!

Its almost impossible to not copy something that has been done before but i try really hard never to use an idea ive seen.... or try to mimic anyones style... which is really f-in hard doing fetish/bondage stuff!

def not, the ballet on the feet is a great touch

the woman who tried to copy you and her photographer did a good job, imitation is the highest for of flattery, if i'd taken the 2nd one after seeing the 1st i'd be happy, they should be happy with their result too..

personally i like the top one ...
toes are more pointed, back higher off the ground, shin is at a nicer (more 90 degree angle), wrists are angled .... just overall looks like better.

Yeah, the camera height is better on the first one. As is the pose.

Yeah....looks similiar.

Are you the guy who created the girl sitting on a chair backwards resting her chin on her arms crossed over the back, or the girl hugging the tree at the park, or the girl looking over the top of her sunglasses.

ooooh, or the crop from belly button to knees with the painties about half off....

I've shot that same shot (years ago) and hand't seen either of these.

I highly doubt it. Her posture is weak and her back isnt as diagonal as yours. They are exact but different in many ways.

urs is def. better.  Your body is raised higher and theres more power coming from ur abdomen than the other model, well in my opinion at least

There's a guy I know (I don't like to give him the title of "photographer") who does that. Sees a photo he likes and copies it identically - from the pose, to the setting, everything, just a different model.

Someone here said it best in another thread, so I'll just quote him...

Yeah, sure... everything's been done, but...

You see something you like, at least use your own creativity and put your own twist on it and make it yours.

The irony is that photographer B knows model A and regularly slates her work...

I like both shots...The first one...Hmmm..I dont like the way the angle of the neck flows off the body...Neck looks almost broken...Great shot though..love the toes and the power in the shot.

More partial to the over all lines in the second..feels more natural. I thibnk both shots offer something..and I have seen this type shot many times before I saw this post.

Werd up...
