'grain' isn't that miniscule amount of extra noise you might get when you set your 20D to asa 800...grain is what you get when you take Tmax 3200 and push it 5 stops. The original image was sharp and clear. Nov 14 06 03:37 pm Link I was at a Formula Drift Championship down by the track. It was about 9:00 pm and I was away from the lights of the stands. I spotted this gal talking to her friend about 50ft. away. Something about her caught my eye and I took this shot just as she turned to go. ISO 800 f/5.6 at 1/20. No IS on my 70-200 lens - I just tried my best to be steady. Turned out to be one of my favorite shots of the evening mainly because she's so beautiful.
