Photographers, don't you just get up every morning, thanking God for your vision and talent? I love being a photographer. There is truely no other job in the world!

I am amazed that people let me keep doing this stuff. I keep thinking more orderlies will show up, take the intercom away, and feed me those awful pills again.

I don't ever wake up before noon.  So what is morning like?

Why?

Cuz I'm a self-unemployed photographer!  tongue

And because I can!  big_smile

That's about time the model falls over asleep and I say "that's a wrap kids' - now, who wants another beer?

...as they say, a bad day of photography still beats a good day of work.

Yep. And I thank God I bought a Nikon as my first camera, too. Lord knows where I'd be now with some infer photocopy machine company's product wink

Hummmmm ... lets see. Pay to have naked ladies in the studio, abuse from clients, internet models flake, realization of a vision of a moment in time, stylists who don't know what's going on, the smell of dektol creeping into you nose like an intoxicating smoke, perpetually brown finger nails, the pride of a creation that no more than 20% of its viewers will ever understand, glare when exiting the darkroom. Poverty brought on by that next must have lens, frustration with PS. More poverty brought on by jonsing for a duel core processor. Did I mention the naked ladies yet?

We are all risk takers - models, stylists and lenspeople - we all love what we do. Well I do anyway!

Almost everyday I am thankful I am a photographer. But...2 days ago my hard drive crashed with unbacked-up work. (I know, I know, always back up) That day, I was wishing I had a different calling.
