I asked a fellow model if you have to be a certain height to do runway modeling. He responded that it all depends on what is being modeled off. I wanted to know your opinions. I am 5ft 7inches and love to do more runway, but afraid i won't be able to because of my height.

Short answer: Yes.  It affects your chance of being able to do runway significantly.

5'7" is too short even for women.

Guys should be 5'11-6'3"
Woman 5'9"-5'11"

That is insane!  I KNOW I am super short, but I have a feeling I am even shorter than her (4'11") I just never realize what a shrimp I look like to the rest of the world, LMAO!

If you have fashion designer friends, there are always runway opportunities for us shrimpy types.  It's very rarely PAID though, so... heh.

Absolutely.

I went to a modeling convention in September. Girls have to be 5'9 - 5'11. So I can only imagine how tall guys have to be.
