Look, if the model is only mediocre, do NOT barrage her with compliments and pay her hundreds of dollars per hour to simply stand there and look like a dork.

If the photographer feels that the mediocre model is someone who is better than that photographer ever shot with and is willing to pay... and the mediocre model shot sofar with photographers who were even worse, and accepts a paid job, since she MAY HAVE TO PAY BILLS too...

If a mediocre model can get 100s of dollars to do some work more power to her. Sucks for the chump photog though.

Well, the poor guy can go to a strip joint and pay hundreds of dollars to an ugly, bad dancer for a few 3 minute thrills and walk out with zip. At least his way he has some blurry, badly lite pictures, right?

i like cute chubby girls that wear glasses and have strait plain hair and no makeup . if i want to pay a 5 foot 6 in 180 pound girl $100 an hour than i will . im not the only fricken guy on earth that likes cute chubby babes. so your saying im inferior to you because i dont want your stereotype model. kiss my ass

If he's bashing mediocrity he should have some excellent shots, and he does but the first one you see looks like a shot a guy would take of his girlfriend before he goes on a long trip or something.

Sorry, just had to vent--long story... The same goes for models paying mediocre photographers, I would think. If a photographer with less-than-appealing shots in his/her portfolio insists on no tfp, then why can't a so-called mediocre model get paid for her time? I'm not saying that such said models should advertise that they ONLY do paid shoots, but if they are offered pay for shooting with one of those "sucker photographers," then I say more power to them!
