I need some pose ideas. It tends to be a challenge finding poses that aren't emphasizing the obvious. Do you have any pose ideas that may be helpful that aren't erotic or pornographic?

Why would a "busty" model try to down-play the fact that she is a "busty" model?

It's kinda hard to get poses for busty models. Cocktail / night dresses help a lot to have great shots. If you use bikinis or lingerine it's nearly impossible to get a photo  that people won't look straight to you know what.

Baby, if you've got 'em (which you have and then some), flaunt 'em!

Because I kinda wanna show versatility...I don't want it to seem like the only thing I'm "equipped" to do is XXX rated erotic work...most people tend to want to do topless shots with me...I wanna show that I have more to offer...Why reiterate the obvious...ya, know?

I expect that to be something people look at...I really don't mind it...it's just that  women who have more of a porportion can take a shot that may look nice where as if I do the same pose ...it doesn't look as flattering or attractive...

OK, so I joined the crowd running off to her portfolio, and all I can say is "Holy mounds of happiness Batman!"

Wait... did I say that out loud?

I have some pose ideas for the implied...I can do something simple like lie on my side with my arm in front covering my breast...(a fairly natural pose)...

LMAO!!!!!UM...that's the issue...I'm not...there are a lot of pictures I have to turn into head shots by cropping, etc because it looks like "they" took over the photo shoot...

hmmm-maybe it's wardrobe then.
in your first pic-with the coat-that really took the emphasis off.
the red shirt really enhances them.
maybe try dark or neutral colours.

I really didn't think about the color aspect. That's a really good idea. Thanks.

De-emphasizing your chest is going to be next to impossible.  Hands for example are hard to pose in part because the back of a hand is half the size of your face.  Your breasts are bigger, closer to your face, and less ummmm..... poseable.  The only things I can think of is a sports bra to try and reduce their size or wear a color close to the color of the background so they blend in a bit more.  Other than that I'd say just own it.  Guys like your big breasts, lucky you!  You know guys look at them, they admire your figure, and you turn heads.  Things could be worse!

Although I can't offer any solutions as I'm just a lowly MUA, I can seriously sympathise with you hun. I can imagine it's gotta be difficult for you considering most photogs won't let models wear bras as it interrupts the line of thier bodies. But we busty women need them to tame the girls! Maybe see if you can get the photog to let you wear an unobtrusive bra in a few of the shots to see how they come out. Maybe one of those seamless, second skin ones? I don't think some people realise how large breasts can effect even the way clothes lie on you. It's hard to look classy or trully sexy in the same things that more...erm...'petite' women wear.

On the flipside of that though, enjoy them. They are what makes you a woman! Part of it anyway. Embrace your curves and the diversity they give. Most women spend thier whole lives obsessing over wanting larger breasts. You've got em, appreciate em!

Black colored wardrobe minimizes the bust effectively. Also loose clothes.

The type of clothing is what is important.  You are extremely busty and really short.  Loose fitting clothing on your body type will round you out and make you look heavier than you are.  You need tops that expose the midrift but still flow away from the lines of the body (impossible I know)

The first pic in your port could have been a decent example of this is you wore a scoop neck top underneathe the button up instead of a bra.  That way you aren't exposing too much cleavage, you have the lines of the button up flowing off the breasts to minimize the jut and an exposed midrift to elongate the torso.

You can't take the emphasis OFF breasts that big but you can make them not AS imposing.

Jackets and shrugs, button ups with undershirts (not bra tops) will do this.

What?  You wanna be known as a "brain model?"

Another alternative is to lose a bunch of weight - your boobs would probably drop down to an " a " or " b ".

You don't need pose ideas, you need to hire a good photographer, who will bring out your beauty and play down the T&A. You're getting skin magazine shots, because those are the guys you're shooting with... They're telling you to put on super-low-cut shirts and bend forward so you're falling out.

Good luck.
