"No model is too much for me to handle."  Can you control your models?  Do they know who's boss?

in response... one of the few things I have little choice but to leave to the articles of faith rather than control.

It's a polarity thing.

Talking babblespeak with a half smoked half lit cigar hanging half out of your half open mouth does half the trick....

Tazer does the other 50%, agreed.

if all else fails, threatening to dessecrate an issue of the model's favorite fluff mag always does the trick...

I guess cattle prods are old hat.  I only used them on the ones who couldn't understand plain English, didn't know left from right, etc.

You could put a 9-Volt in a little something else that would probably tame a model.

LOL.  I guess that would work better than saying "Heel!" or "Stay!"  But I still like saying "Roll over!"

Works for me.

Considering I shoot mostly bondage photos, control comes pretty easily...  wink

Actually, it's not about controlling, it's about collaborating and working together to come up with the best image possible.  This is true in all photoshoots, even bondage.  I always try to explain to the models the concepts behind a given scene so they buy into the idea and make it even more than just my idea, so it becomes our idea.
