I just counted fourteen threads on the first page of General Mayhem, Model Matters and Photography all dealing with "no show."  There are a myriad of threads about models not answering as well.

My question is, don't you people think we get the point with one or two threads running at any given moment?  Has this become the "Bash the Models" site?

I think we all understand that that when either a model or a photographer "no shows" for a booking, it is unprofessional and hurts us all.  What I want to know is why we need to talk about it in fourteen threads?

I think that beating our chests so much makes us all look unprofessional.  It seems like one or two threads would be enough.

Ahhhhh, haaaa, thanks.  I didn't bother to read them, I just noticed that there were so many on the front page.

Now we know the meaning of the word "clever!"

Can we revist the "annoying post" idea?

How about this for a suggestion:  ban the next person that starts a "no show" thread.

Or maybe a flogging in the town square.  Floggings are always good.

When either a model or photographer doesn’t show, it is extremely annoying.  Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be a rare event.  What adds to the aggravation is when we either don’t get any explanation at all, or the explanation we get can’t be verified.  It is very frustrating not knowing if we are being lied to, and "no-show" threads are often the result of frustration.  People often post because they are pissed off.

If you are not personally involved, or have read many similar posts, perhaps you could care less.  However these posts are not about your feelings, so don’t expect them to disappear.  People are venting.  If there are 14 threads, then that could be an indication of the scope and frequency of the event.  If a topic is uninteresting, move on.
