As a contrast to the Diverse Photographer thread (https://modelmayhem.com/posts.php?thread_id=85925), I'd like to pose the question of who has the most focused vision.

Who knows what she or he does best and is the best at what he or she does?  Who has the ability to construct a body of work that can represent who she or he is as a photographer, and whose work can be recognized without needing to see the name in the copyright line?

Off the top of my head:

D. Brian Nelson

Leaves me out. I have somewhat of a look I'm after, but prefer to shoot each model as a unique individual without using the same ole thing on each. So, I guess I'm visionless. /tim

Wasn't there a similar thread a while back? It left many upset because they weren't mentioned. Why can't we just let go of this popularity contest? To answer your question, there are too many with focused visions to mention in this thread, and many will be undeservedly left off, so it may be best to just let this go. I already see that many who should be mentioned have been left off. These lists are obviously biased, since people are obligated to mention their friends or people who they know on a personal or an MM-social level.

The idea behind these threads is not popularity.  It is to share our favorites with others.  It is unfortunate that some people get left out, and sad that some people's egos are so fragile that they get hurt for not being mentioned.  However, these threads can introduce people to others' work in a very similar manner to how people are introduced in the real world--word of mouth.

MM has decided not to do "showcases".  This is what we do instead.

I'll stop here, cause I could keep going.  Went into my FAVORITES file, many of these people I am not MM 'Friends' with... maybe too shy to talk to them because I'm just in AWE of their work.  You'll notice my taste and aspirations are TOTALLY different than the way I personally shoot.  I'm a fan of these following MM members:
