Has anybody made any money off this site?
Personally, I've been very fortunate to be able to but I was just curious how other models or photographers do,

What other sites are there?

new to the modeling online biz...

I am a member of OMP and I think my profile is lost in the system.

I got two paying gigs from here in my first week. I couldnt keep the pics due to the release conditions. But I am really impressed with the interactivity this site offers.

Where in SD are you? I live in Santee and work in Chula Vista.

I haven't made money from any shoots off of here, but I have made a couple of bucks from selling cards with the website URL to Model Mayhem..

But I certainly dont get on here telling women that at 35 or older that they are elderly or too old like some people do.

guess I should put more time into MM, but so far 100% of shoots scheduled here I had 100% flakes, so I stopped trying here and started paying my bills through myspace. I'm back to try it again, but so far everyone only seems to speak, tfcd. I'm not fluent in that lang...

Yes.
It takes work to earn the money though, and I don't just mean showing up for the shoots. You have to put yourself out there to gain the work, and be professional when the work comes, and then the money will start to come together.

Haven't made any money yet, but I've had more requests for artwork and info in a month than I have at OMP for almost a year.  that's not to say I haven't had made some connections there, but the response here has been great.

I've made money as both a model and MUA on here. But it does take a lot of networking and hard work. Got to get a good reputation for yourself.

No, i haven't earned a penny. I get lot's of compliments and photographers telling me they wish i was closer but that's about it. Then again...i relocated to Colorado from California.

I have recently updated my port with new pic's and i do have contacts in CA. So i'm not too worried but it would be nice to book a gig of some sort.

I like MM though - it's fun exchanging compliments and viewing other peoples work. I heard of a site called Modelone has anyone heard of that??

That's interesting, because I don't pay and only have 5 images there, but I still get contacted.

Why would you type in random caps if you already knew it's incorrect?
