So im a short specialty model. Not much money in that realy.
And i know this. However there seems to be more of a place
for me in the more fetishy sort of looks and i think doing some
of that(some.not all.I rather not be a one trick pony lol)could
actualy be some fun! However, i realy dont like the cheaply done
fetish photos..I adore work like you see in harpers bazaar and
vogue..the quality and edgyness but id love to see it turned
into something more alternative and sensual..So im looking for
very polished vibrant photographers and models who do fetish
work to get some inspiration from.

Soooo id be your buddy if you could link me up to some realy polished great photos that are more along the line of alternative fetish or sensual..Doenst have to be only latex(pfh, like i could afford that stuff) but u get the idea^_^

For high end stuff, I'd look up Helmut Newton. He was the master.

I remember you - you do lots of self portraits. I really like your work.

I think Lithium Picnic is pretty righteous at what you're describing.  If I'm understanding what you're describing correctly, that is.  wink

Did you get your anal-fur tail yet?... and have you developed your theme for that?

I actually like your description of what you are seeking very much. I think the problem is that kinks vary widely and most fetish is niche fetish and they are a motley list of mutually exclusive subsets. It's not easy to define a broad market for universal fetish.

It might be best to make up your own from scratch, then your fans can subscribe to that and join you.

In terms of general market approach, I think your style of sexy that's between real and manga is a good one. Sexy anime, in the realm of digital imagery & Internet. Another broad market of mild erotica is the mass of romance novels out there. Another might be to read through some ribald classics, and put them to photo themes.

Random thoughts.

Due to the nature of what it is, you might consider extra oomph from detailed macros of the natural gasket that holds the tail in place. It' possible to be artistic and provocative, with rich lighting and composition.

Im not that great with those but i think your right and i may try getting out of my box for some shots like that..Butt(pun intended) i want to get some more full bodied shots ..i think my port lacks it and i worry ,despite my shortness, that a lack of imgs that show more of my form other than like.. 3/4ths might be a strike agianst it?

Im also exploring the more fetishy stuff since it seems to more popularly published in the alt genre these days which, though i do like to do what ever my heart pleases i do have goals to see my work published n what not one day^_^

Keep on doing what your heart pleases. You're terribly creative, and the most successful people are the ones who just do whatever they want to do.

I don't have a specific suggestion for you I'm afraid, but I thought this was as a good a place as any to tell you that I really admire your work.  I did a couple very light fetish pics in my last shoot... kind of a bride torture thing but I'm not a fetish photographer (or much of an anything photographer) per se.

I’d say contact any of the designers you like and ask them if they want you to model for them.

It never hurts to ask, clothing lines will use a model that have the "look" they want in exchange for clothes she/he models for them. I'm working with one such fetish/alt/retro model now with a retro clothing company that has some very nice clothes.

Well i normaly agree but i assume that the larger more industriouse lines have the ability to find what they need around them since more ppl are eager to work with them.Where as smaller new palces, reguardless of location, are more like "ohhhh shes an asset to us we are luck to have her!" lmfao well not like that but you get what i mean( i hope)

Google her and click on "images" She's an astonishing photographer!

She has a gallery at the Fine Art Erotic Photography web site Michelle 7 Erotica:

"Irina Ionesco is the "Grande Dame" of French erotic photography. Her photographs first appeared in the 1960s. Since 1970 her work has been exhibited in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, England, Egypt, the US, Japan and Germany. She was voted "Woman of the Year" by Time Life Photography in 1977 and more than 12 collections of her work have been published in book form."

Christine Kessler; fetish in a more fashion style
Nadya Lev; fetish in fashion again.
Lithium Picnic, of course, which you already know about.

Erotique Digitale, which is Kelly Michael Charles Lind (photographer) and Alex LaMarshmakeup/hair. (The ErotiqueDigitale.com site is definitely in-your-face-adult; the others are less so.)

I don't know if it's the (or a) direction you had in mind, but check out Lee Higgs. Very unusual work.

hmmm.
sort of. some companies lend stuff to models because they ask and the companies figure that they can get some free advertising. usually the clothes have to be returned though. that's a lot of cost to be giving out.

fetish clothing lines dont just give out free clothes. it does happen but not on a regular basis. especially if you're talking about quality latex in exchange for some pretty photos. there are so many models and photographers out there willing to supply images to these companies.

as a model, or a photographer, trying to get work in a suddenly oversaturated um, business, you have to ask yourself, "what can i offer that the others don't besides pretty pictures?". free publicity? that can be nice, but on what sort of levels?

in the end, the bottom line is what it is about too. the ability to push sales and promote a company by active participation. for a model, wearing some latex clothes you got for free at a club so that your friends can see, and want, and then ask for some loaners isn't doing the job of generating sales.

oh shit.got off on a lil rant there.

anyhoo, fotographers
yea, christophe mourthe does some fashiony stuff tho he also does a bit more porny things too.

try um, thomas rusch.
www.thomasrusch.com/
he's based out of berlin and paris and does fashion stuff too as well as some fetish/bondage. i worked with him a few years ago.

also, gilishani in berlin. just shot with him for some projects.
www.gilishani.com

stevedietgoedde has some things that have placed his images in photo books and magazines, as well as some "fashiony" editorials, but those have been shot with such editorials in mind.
www.stevedietgoedde.com

ive also done some fashion based fetish stuff with kelly lind too.
mentioned above tho the images wont be featured prominently on his site since these were shot as editorials and not solely for content for our sites.

Christine Kessler:

Gunther Blum:

Sorry can't locate his website right now.

Carlos Batts:

Beatrice Neumann:

Justice Howard:

Also check out http://www.deviantart.com . There are lots of good emerging fetish photographers there.

Also check out the photo credits of established fetish models like:

Kumi ( she already left you a comment ), Emily Marilyn and  Apnea.

Developing a relationship with designers is the toughest part.
Good wardrobe cost a lot of money and is an investment you have to make when you are starting out to create your image. If you develop a relatonship with them though they can help you realize some amazing imagery, sometimes on very short notice. I had one designer custom make me an outfit on 4 days notice.

Thanks Kumi. I am big fan of your work. It has been interesting to see you progress from a model only known in a small community to a well established international fetish model.

Who do you consider to be the best shibari rigger in North America? I am looking to take some courses next year.

Did you ever finish you teaching degree? I remember you stressing about it in one of your journal entries years ago.
