I'm meeting up with a photographer from out of town (CA), and I'm relatively new to the Boston area myself.  Does anyone have any recommendations for really interesting, somewhat isolated locations for shooting?  Abandoned buildings, stuff like that.  I want to help make this shoot go well, so any ideas would be great.  Thanks!

while not IN Boston, (a little ways north) and not abandoned, I recomend you check the cfnap studio ( cfnap.com ) Its a large historic brick building that's a great studio to work out of. They have a variety of sets and props, and you can rent it by the hour/day/month whatever. They even rent equipment like SLRs and strobes......

Awesome, thanks for the info.  I'll pass it on to the photographer and see if he's interested.

Go to South Station, many lofts and old brick structures and cool alleys. The old church in Copley Square is good too. The South End has a nice European feel to it as well.
