Hey guys,

Just read on one model's portfolio 'I will work with all nationalities, whether ur black, white, asian, indian etc.'......Does that make her different from the rest of us ??? I can't imagine why anyone would need to write that. Do people she knows in the industry only work with one specific nationality? How strange is that.......

I know in the porn industry that a lot of female talent won't do scenes with blacks because it "devalues" them.

Seriously.

They don't get paid as much any more after boffing a black guy.

How interesting. So why does it make a difference if the guy is black or not? Is it because of a certain appendage wink

What if a black guy you de-flowers a young lady ? is she double devalued ?

What you get 10 points for a giving a white guy a blowjob, five for an Asian guy , and 1 point for a black man!

See, a mind is a terrible thing to waste !

Well what I said IS the truth.  The jokes that followed were to make light of it or because they might have thought I was serious, but it IS true.

No I believe you, I was just trying to make light of it because there are bound to be people who might be offended by it sad An interesting fact though, I wouldn't think too many people knew about it?

Haha I know, I'm such a child. I did a writing course and in my first week, I had to write a sex scene to read aloud to the class. You would be amazed at the variety of words I found to describe body parts. Reading it back now is hysterical - and I think appendage even rated a mention in there somewhere hehe

Seriously:  Lighten up.

Good night Trev smile Not to worry, we all get grumpy when we don't sleep. Sweet dreams!

Another thought - A photographer can obviously state the model's background when advertising for a shoot (i.e. Italian model, 5'8+, size 10) but there would be no need for a model to so that brings me back to my original confused state :S Imagine -
'Seeking photographer, must be of Asian background (strictly not japanese), preferably bald or wears his hair very short, approximately 5'10 in height and weight must be between 120-160lbs'.....How ridiculous!

Dude, when you were younger...say, a teenager.... Didn't you ever manage to turn every conversation into a conversation about sex?  Ok, maybe you didn't. But if anyone here was mature, they wouldn't be on MM.... I don't think...

Some photographers do seem to work only with one or two types of nationalities...some only work with men, and some only with women...I think part of it just depends on what part of the industry they try to cater to, and what their own preferences are really. I'm not saying that it's entirely correct for them to do, but it happens.

That is very strange. I would work with any nationality. It makes a beautiful variation of models and photos. In fact I've been wanting to work with a black model for a while.

it all depends on context,

1. was she of an ethnic background other than anglo-saxon?
2. Was she speaking of other models she will work with, or was she speaking of photographers?

Maybe she put it in there because she only gets offers form one ethnic group or only has a port of one style and she is showing that that is not all she is willing to do,
