And, as happened to a model I have worked with, you DON'T LEAVE THE SOAKED TISSUES LYING AROUND IN THE BATHROOM SHE IS GOING TO USE.

(believe it or not) Beautiful women can be insecure and they, like everyone else, need reassurance. So just say something flattering like..

"Wow, looks like I picked a bad day to give up boners!"

that will put her at ease, make her feel good about herself and the shoot should go smoothly.

That's my two cents, put it in a bank with a high intrest rate.

:-P

I see myself saying that....and then I see my glasses flying across the room!

Be grateful. I have met several astonishing women through photography. I make it a rule to not hit on them though. And they seem to enjoy even the flirtatious shoots. (where the model is flirting). She knows what she looks like to a man. And so do you. So stay professional and she'll send more of her friends to you! Sometimes you'll even find that she has sisters!

I would be completely uncomfortable after the shoot if someone said that to me....

That kind of dirty.

Excuse yourself for a minute, go to the next room, slap yourself really hard and repeat "I'm a nice person and a professional, treat people with respect", then return and finish the shoot.

Step one: Realize that "good looking" isn't good enough.

Step two: Recognize the real depth of beauty and uniqueness in front of you.

Step three: Use your talent to bring out facets of this beauty that so many others unfortunately overlook.

Step four: Understand how to enhance it with the tools at hand (e.g. your environment, your lighting, etc.)

Step five: Compose your image and press the freak'n button.

Step six: Show her the real beauty that you see.

Step seven: Now that you have her glowing... return to step three.  Complete this cycle as many times as is enjoyable by both.

Step eight: Share.

Oh God... there we go again. Is it necessary to do a "hand job" just to get back to work as if nothing ever crossed your mind? That's not being professional. Not because they don't see you that means you can have a "mental masturbation pleasure" with girl. I believe girls should not be treated as a piece of meat or "mental fantasy" Get real dudes, if you are not able to treat the girl as any other girl (that is, with full respect: SEEN OR NOT SEING) then you are not a PRO.
