My bestfriends wife is having me take some photos of her for sweetest day.  Her husband is a musician and plays guitar.  She wants some pictures of her with his guitars and amps. I've seen some example, but was wondering if anyone has anymore.

I've got a pic or two with a guitar and music equipment on my profile.  Check them out, and I hope it helps!

If you go for the jamming guitarist pose - please show the model/wife how to hold a pick and fret a chord.  It looks SO much better when this is done IMO.

I did a test shoot in London that was about this sort of thing. A couple of the images are on my MM page. Here's a little more:

check out my profile,(unfortunately, the location was not well thought out, thus, the pics look like something out of MySpace,)
BTW,those are my guitars(I am a musician as well)
we might reshoot this in an rehersal studio(and use my friend's lazers)

...and yes she DOES play guitar! Not that should matter. Girls and music have gone hand-in-hand forever.

ooh I really like this idea because you have the shape of the guitar to accentuate her actual curves. Great photo

Well, same thing you described with a twist...this image was taken in a small tub with sliding doors..yeah, it was a pain...lighting was tricky...I used a softbox, but also you can bounce the lighting from the ceiling for a nice difused lighting if you are going for regular colors and a wider angle lens if you want more of the tub/subject in the picture...watch for reflections
