Does anyone know of a spot that someone could do tasteful outdoor nudes in/around Phoenix without a lot of hassle?

Not in Phoenix, but if you head up 87 towards Payson I could give you some location ideas about an hour away.

Riggs Road, west of I-10 about five to ten miles out in the open desert. I think it's reservation land but there is no one out there in that section. You can also get there from 51st Avenue and drive straight south. It eventually turns into Riggs Rd.

THere are areas around the Superstition Mountains, but it has been a while since I've been out there.

It gets really tricky around the Phoenix area.  There are places downtown where if you contact the property owners, and tell them what you are wanting to do, that won't have a problem.  As long as the nudity is not visible to the public, you shouldn't have too much of a problem.  Sunday mornings are the best time (least amount of traffic).

You might also find some areas along the Salt River that will be out of sight from the public.  You just have to be careful of property rights and trespassing.

Visit some of the under ground art galleries downtown, they might be able to help too.

You got mail. It's a little tricky to describe how to get to the location, so let me know if the directions are confusing at all..

Another thing that I've done with some success is posting an ad on Craig's List looking for people with nice properties up in Scottsdale, or who own some of the old buildings downtown. You'd be amazed at the free stuff people will let you use with the promise of free nudity. Just make it part of the deal that they get to hang around and watch. I'm serious.

And... hmm, we headed out of Tempe into some crazy mountain roads and found some gorgeous stuff... I don't remember the roads though. Kinda made a loop north (and a little east I think) of Tempe.

I've done a few shoots past Cave Creek on the road towards Seven Springs.

89A South of Queen Creek toward Florence, South of Florence on same highway to Tucson. Real remote.

Also Cowtown on 99th Ave and Carefree Highway. Keep going west on the dirt road until where it ends. http://www.cowtownaz.com/

Or just join us at Desert Photo Shoots and we'll handle the location bit while you shoot the models.
