We have the term GWC. But we're lacking a good catchy term for their counterparts. GWP just doesn't stick with me. So I propose a new term: "Modoos". I must admit that I can't take credit for this one Studio36uk let it slip in another thread and I think that in a lot of cases it just fits so damn well.

No context. I just thought it sounded catchy.

what the hell's a 'modoo'??

No no no, if a photog who likes boobie or whatever is a 'guy with a camera' he's not a phooooootog or something. That doesn't make sense.

So the model has to be something descriptive like... WCH

Walking Coat Hanger. big_smile

You've got to write that with the ellipsis: = "mod...doo"

ellipsis

Main Entry: el·lip·sis
Pronunciation: i-'lip-s&s, e-
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural el·lip·ses /-"sEz/
Etymology: Latin, from Greek elleipsis ellipsis, ellipse, from elleipein to leave out, fall short, from en in + leipein to leave -- more at IN, LOAN
1 a : the omission of one or more words that are obviously understood but that must be supplied to make a construction grammatically complete b : a sudden leap from one topic to another
2 : marks or a mark (as...) indicating an omission (as of words) or a pause

You have to use the ellipsis between "mod" and "doo," writing it as "mod...doo" because there is obviously something missing. Obviously, too, there is also a pause between "mod" and "doo" in the spoken form exactly because there is something missing. The quotation marks set it off in the dialogue.

There is a method to my madness. LOL

Studio36

BTW there is a British English comparative term in spoken form that comes from what is called estuary English [an accent spoken in the south of England along the course of the River Thames] and pronounced as "mod...dow" = model. One of the girls that does this herself is the not overly bright glamour model Jordan [Katie Price] which is where the inspiration for "mod...doo" comes from. I just consider that "mod...doo" is the same thing but with an American accent. smile smile smile

THAT is right on target!!  Ohio is the GWC Capitol.  A model who is trying hard is driving up from Louisville to Cleveland to shoot with me, while the GWC gurls in CLE wont even show up and have coffee to plan a shoot and exchange ideas on how we are to accomplish their goals.
