So -- are you thinking of shortening them from the top -- or the bottom? smile

I guess it takes a smartass to know one!

I don't know -- I a kind-a like the top and the bottom part of them, I was thinking about maybe getting rid of the knee.  But then again, if I do that, I can't kick anybody's @ss....

Ugh... I'll just keep struggling with mine.

for a model, legs unproportionately long, are dollars you place in your pocket and opportunities that would not otherwise be there. for the rest of us they are just damned desireable... although i understand why you could become bored looking at the top of my head.

You're right...

Your legs are freakishly long. What's your nickname around the house? Spiderwoman? You lie like a rug when you put 6 foot in your port...unless of course you were just putting in the actual size of your stretch armstrong lower limbs. Holy smokes girl, you must bathe in a swimming pool just to be able to stretch those legs out! When you get a pedicure the woman giving it to you is in a different time zone! I better stop now...I don't wanna get kicked...all the way out here in California!!

LOL Just kidding... actually in looking at your pictures it would appear that you have a long torso....

Your legs are fine!

MK (there...I changed my avatar so you can see what real long legs look like!)

Madcity:

The only shot on your portfolio showing your legs is in the blue dress.  All I can say is WOW.

Find an experienced photographer in your area, and do an entire shoot dedicated to doing justice to your legs.  You need some good leg shots for your portfolio.  For example, have the photographer use very strong sidelighting (with diffusers removed from softboxes for these shots) and possibly even slightly rim lit.  Take some floor shots.  Find some outdooor metal stairs, etc.

There are models who make a living off of leg shots.  You are  the one in 10,000 to  the legs to do that.  Let's see those legs properly composed and lit.

The problem isn't that your legs are too long, but that your ass is too high.

Go for it. I've heard it's the latest fad in "body modification, along with shortening the arms by a few inches. I even know of a few who are considering spinal shortening and having some of those annoying digits amputated at their local tattoo/piercing shop to make a "personal statement"! One 'former' model had her nose removed, but now regrets it as her agency droped her (she really does not understand why they did that) and it causes a pretty messy problem when she gets a cold. Instead of a runny nose she has a runny face.
