Just got back from a four day photo road trip and had an absolute blast and an awesome model too. Everything that could go right about this shoot did. And I just wanted to say thank you to Jessi Francis (#186803) for helping to make the whole thing possible. I highly recommend her for your next project. She goes above and beyond. She is the poster girl for all of the reasons that we all do this.

Well it's great to know that your road trip was worth it!  I'm thinking about doing more road trips myself ... wink

It's a shame that the positive threads get buried so quickly here on Model Mayhem.  Does drama and tragedy always have to get more attention?  John, who are some of your favorite models to work with in the LA area?

Well, I've only worked with a couple of models in the area. Cali-Luv(#19545)  gets props from me and so does Lady Bronze(#13444)

Aww :HUGS: from across the States!

OK, I'll tell you one of my favorites.  A couple years ago, I drove out to from the Central Coast all the way to Sacramento in the middle of the week to shoot with Angella. When I pulled into Sacramento my car broke down, it was a heater hose near the top of the engine so it's something I could fix myself. Angella met me where my car broke down and drove me to the auto parts store where she assisted me in fixing my car.  She was very helpful and kind!

We went over to the State Capital and learned how to make arrangements to do a bridal type photo shoot around the grounds and inside the building. It took two different permits and we got those the day before shooting!  Then I was put up in a motel for two nights.  Angella and I shot the bridal style pictures that next day and the day after, we shot casual around the downtown area near places like the metro train stop.

Angella was amazing! She was helpful every step of the way. She worked hard and is a great model.  She is also quite beautiful.  Unfortunately I think she got tired of the modeling from all the drama? She is concentrating on school and working on herself.  I notice the improvements that she has made on herself and would love to shoot with her again (maybe paying her would help!)  I would highly recommend her to any photographers in the Sacramento OR Chico area where she goes to school.  Since she no longer has a OMP profile, I have some pictures of her on my OMP profile ... http://www.onemodelplace.com/photograph … ?P_ID=2662 under the Wedding/Event and the Editorial ... but you can find her on MySpace at  http://www.myspace.com/angellafagundes  I'm not sure why she dropped out of modeling, but I'd love to get her back into it!  Maybe paying her would do it?

Some other models I highly recommend are Kimiko, Alexia Marie, Mimi-Rose, Susie, Kaya, Missa, Desmira .. actually most of the models on my MM profile!  Since some are not listed with a profile, if anyone wants more specific information on any of these models, please message me.  I have many positive things to say about these wonderful models!

A couple models I would like to work with in the LA area are Sara Brinsfield of http://www.Asiandime.com and Luana Lani ... https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=4918 I've been "talking" with both but have yet to commit to some times when I can travel to LA ... but soon!  Also Seanna https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=5516 is another one who I want to shoot!  Gee, this list is going to get long!  Happy shooting!

Best wishes,
Patrick

Would it be too boring to start a thread that said;

"Why photographers DO insist on Escorts!"
"Another success story about a model who was professional"
"Yea, I made some money doing some networking here!"
"Photographers who DON'T give me the creeps!"
"I shot with a teenager in a park, but didn't get arrested!"
"A photographer was so very professional with me!"
"Models and photographers who are actually working!"
"Photographers NOT having sex with their models!"
(... at least during the shoot! LOL)

And the best one ...
"How come nobody ever flakes on me?"
(So I'd have something to whine about on MM! LOL)

Thanks John!  You are wonderful and I had a blast.

What an adventure, eh?  Charlie Manson, Rocky and Potlicker, Ken the hiker, and Indian George's ghost.... Maybe weirdos attract weirdos?  I dunno...

Thanks again!!
