The 200mm zoom has a hood.  No hood on any other lens.

Although, then again, I rarely shoot outdoors so don't have to worry about flares in that scenario.  Outdoors is where the boogey man lives... I'm a scardey cat.

So, how is Canon's new Fantastic Affordable?  I have a 20D as my main weapon and just started hearing the main specs on the XTi.

Well from my initial tests, it is underexposing a tad (maybe a 1/2 stop) but nothing I can't deal with.  If I shot in any of the automatic modes, it might be a problem, but I set the camera to "M" and leave it there. 

I'll be doing a full shoot with it soon to see how it works 'on the job'.

Don't be scuured.

The boogy man lives in most any light source, trust me, I know.

I use a hood on all my lens's
