I just started photographing models.  So, I have a question.  I know that the industry standard size for portfolio prints is 9x12.  What about placing my watermark on the prints?  Is this done?  And what is a good size and placement for it.  I would appreciate any feedback on this.

I only place a watermark on web stuff. If a model wants a file for a print I send it without a watermark. Watermarks don’t belong in printed portfolios IMO.

Agreed, watermarks don't belong in printed portfolios.... It makes them look a bit like they were done at a portrait studio...
