Maybe its just me but I have gotten nothing but fakes or porn offers from muse cube. This one though has to be the best. The guy list nothing about himself except a first name and the fact that he has "worked with over 400 models". He has NO pictures on his portfolio. He contacted me and asked me to work with him. I sent him an email asking why he had no work up and if there was another place where I could view his work. This is the reply I recived:

"Hi, Thanks for the reply: I had them posted until 9am this morning. I have the trial membership and it does not allow private portfolios or protect them with "log in& password", so I was reluctant to leave the figure shots 'wide open' for the public.I checked the box that said 'nudity' but it doesn't seem to limit access.
Give me a time 2 hour time slot and I'll post the portfolio for that time period."

This was my reply:

"I don't see any logical reason why you would not want to display your work. If you are afraid of people stealing your images than you can very easily put a watermark on them. The only reason I could think of for being afraid to post pictures is if they are stolen from someone else and you are trying to avoid getting caught. This seems much more likely too me seeing as you list nothing about yourself or your work. You claim to have worked with over 400 models. You obviously did not get those models via the internet since you have no site or place to view any of your work. I would suggest sticking to what ever method you have used previously to get models since if you really have worked with over 400 you must be doing very well for yourself and obviously don't need a site like this. I'm sure you must have really amazing work since you have gotten so many people to work with you. Its such a shame you feel the need to hide it."

I egarly await his responce.

Why be confrontational with these people? Once you begin this dialogue, you know there isn't going to be any trust between both of you. Spend your energy on people who will be productive with you! Just send him a "No thank you," and move on.

Usually I just ignor theses people. This is more of an experiment really to see how someone will react when confronted like this. I'm just too curious for my own good. Its not like I care what people on muse cube think of me anyway since I havn't found anyone decent on there.

Like I said in another thread, these people are mentally ill. You can't deal with them on a rational basis. You'll never convince them they are wrong. They'll always spin what they are doing, or will just attack you back. I think you're fighting a loosing battle.

I've had nothing but good things come from musecube, in fact that and MM are the only sites I use now.  Unlike OMP musecube is another site that if you contact the management about a problem they'll actually do something about it which is rare.

I have to take a stand here in the positive for Musecube as well.  I left OMP and also this and Musecube are the only places I am.  Geoff, the owner of Musecube, not only will personally answer your emails and concerns, he will remove a questionable portfolio in minutes.  So, please don't blame Musecube for this.  There are sickos and fakes everywhere....Musecube happens to be a very legitimate place to be...

I only dropped MuseCube when they went to a subscription. I don't like the fact models and wannabe models get a free ride but photographers have to pay.

Ah , you beat me to it . I left musecube for the same reason . I hope MM does not follow this same path

My thoughts exactly.

MM will probably go to pay at some point.  As it gets more popular they're going to need to pay for it some how.  I don't mind paying for musecube because its very reasonable, and i'd pay for MM.  I think people are deluding themselves if they think MM will be free forever if even that much longer.

Ditto, but I liked it and my wannabe model port is still there.

Hi Toria,

Legitimate maybe but really slow these days.  Only four or five threads per day in  the main forum and some of the others are stagnant for days at a time.
