Got something against the name "Robert"?
I happen to think that it is a good name.

Just had one of my worst days ever as a professional photographer so I've been hiding in a hole and I don't want to come out yet. (Out of curiosity, has anybody ever had not one but TWO camera bodies fail on them in the same day? Maybe that should be a subject for another thread...)

Yea, if I didn't have a shoot this evening, I'd feel like the day was wasted.

Where's my drama? Where's the soap opera?

I got banned just today for bringing up alien anal probes again. It seems the mods are in cahoots with the aliens. How was I supposed to know...?!!!

For the time being, they're both doorstops. Or not. I don't know what the hell happened. One of them just had a shutter replaced, too.

I DID finish the shoot (on a 10D of all things), but after I went nuts, and the fashion editor and I got into it (technical probs tend to bring out the worst in everybody, myself included), any chance of a halfway decent shoot went pretty much down the drain, and it was written all over the frozen smile on that poor model's face.

I'm sorry to hear that.   It does merit hiding out for a day or so.

I bet the look on the model's face was priceless though.

I want to bring light and magic into your life. I had Contax 645's. To say I hated those cameras was an understatement. They felt nice and solid in te hand but didn't perform worth a poop. Traded them in on a H1 sytem. I've had every camera known to man (yeah, right) and the H1 is the best there is. So now you have the chance of a lifetime to get rid of two of the biggest pigs on the planet for the best ever made in the entire solar system. Happy day! And very smart  as well as professional of you to have a third on hand.

Not to hijack the thread, but so the hell what, it zzzz time anyway....but can the lenses from the contax 645 be used on anything else?

And the H1, that's completely digital with fuji lenses, right?

If you people are so bored, go out and do something.

Take a walk. Visit some friends. Do something productive instead of dreaming up new ways to chase Kevlar Gal away once she does make the mistake of returning.

Some of you people have as many as 4000 posts.

Do you ever leave the house?

Actually, I'm not bored, just waiting for paint to dry on some assemblage bodies.
