Nude photo Shoot
I just got offered a nude photo shoot. A shoot where it would be required that I be nude as well.... anyone else get wacky offers like this? Star Sep 07 06 09:34 pm Link I don't even get nude in the darkroom. Too many chemicals, and as for behind the camera, I get my fingers pinched in my tripod all the time--so no, that's not going to happen either.... ![]() Sep 07 06 09:37 pm Link Star wrote: You must be kidding me! Sep 07 06 09:38 pm Link Star wrote: Oh yeah... happens to me all the time! Sep 07 06 09:40 pm Link If i were to do that they would think It was a hairy girl photog lol Sep 07 06 09:40 pm Link Is this at a nudist resort?? Why else would you need to be naked. Mike Sep 07 06 09:40 pm Link Oh...just do it. -D Sep 07 06 09:41 pm Link "we are the ********* and are having many models for a special ****** spa they are doing a piece on our celebrity spa this is a nude resort and there are no single men on the property just couples and women-we need shots for our web site http://www.******.com/ we are doing trade of one mid week overnight and also 3 future day night spa passes for two-worth $800 This is fun and great for an open minded person- let us know if you too are ok with nude recreation as all will be nude at the shoot and we do need some photos for our web site also juli and dewey http://www.***********.com/ let us know ASAP" I explained that I do not shoot nude as I am not a "hot" woman and am not comfortable having nude images of myself on display. They responded you look fine but everyone on set will be nude. My thoughts are, ewwwwww.... climbing over women, nude, wearing only a lightmeter in the hot sun does not sound like a good idea Star Sep 07 06 09:42 pm Link D. Brian Nelson wrote:
Sep 07 06 09:45 pm Link Oh, well, in that case i'll do it!!! LOL If your not comfy it'll show in the work. Mike Sep 07 06 09:45 pm Link UPoz4me wrote: Mike would you be ok with nude photographs of you being used to promote a spa. Nude, sweating, holding a camera and a light meter. Sep 07 06 09:49 pm Link I was going to shoot one model who I worked with in college, and found out another co-worker of ours did nude work. I asked if she'd want to do TFP, and she liked my work and liked the idea that the tree of us worked together that day. A few days before the shoot, she asked the other model if I would strip for the shoot so she would be more "comfortable." It was an interesting day, the three of us naked all afternoon. They even picked up the camera and got some shots of me, as I was in really good shape at the time (working out a lot for Army ROTC back then). I let one of the models keep the photos... Sep 07 06 09:49 pm Link If you choose to go , I can be your body guard ( LOL)... my question is ... do they have a hot tub? room service ? A masseuse? Like a real one? ... ![]() Sep 07 06 09:53 pm Link Star wrote: Well, once they see me naked they wouldn't want to use my pics to promote there spa. It may promote a bad image. Sep 07 06 10:14 pm Link It doesn't sound like you'll be seen nude as you're the photographer (unless I missed something). Hell, if a nudist group wanted to pay me $800.00 to photograph them (cash, not a trade) and I had to be nude I'd do it. Granted, I'd scare everyone off and blind them with my extreme pastiness, but that's what you get ![]() Sorry... I'm in a weird mood. I have no idea if the offer is legitimate or not. There are perfectly legit nudist groups and camps; those I'd have no problem working for. But I would be careful who they are and make sure it's a real spa and not something else. I did get an email from a Craigslist ad I have out. The person was asking me all these questions and then wanted to know if I were male or female. I'm thinking it was some guy that wanted to get nude in front of a female photographer. People are so damn fascinating... -P- Sep 07 06 10:27 pm Link LOL.. only from guys Star wrote: Sep 07 06 10:30 pm Link Make sure your backside is clean just in case you drop your lens cap. ![]() Sep 07 06 10:45 pm Link Ok I had my heckle.... ![]() ![]() Sep 07 06 10:54 pm Link I am completely nude underneath my clothes during all photoshoots Sep 07 06 11:01 pm Link Star, Are you in your port somewhere? Just curious. How do you feel about being nude? Self conscious? Just wondering... Bohan Photography wrote: I actually thought she was bluffing until I got there... Sep 07 06 11:02 pm Link "let us know if you too are ok with nude recreation as all will be nude at the shoot and we do need some photos for our web site also " no this person would shoot the session for their web site. I just can't imagine setting up lighting equipment nude. Imagine what those straps could do to your nipples?! I once did a nude day at the flower selling booth at fair, topless at least. I don't have a problem topless, but I would need shorts on just to get into the positions I would need to shoot. If it is hot, girls smell. Star Sep 07 06 11:15 pm Link Star wrote: Actually this isn't that surprising to me. I've heard of actresses doing things like this on films. They throw everybody but the essentials and then EVERYONE gets naked. Then they feel more comfortable. Sep 07 06 11:25 pm Link Star wrote: Ahhhhhhhhh, the catch. And if you are not inclined to re-visit the place, because you are not normally involved in that lifestyle, you work for free. Star wrote: In more general terms I shot for years for a British nudist magazine [indeed, I also wrote for them] and often just to gain access to some places had to shoot nudes while nude myself. No big deal, really. But then again it wasn't trade work... it was all paid work. Sep 08 06 01:21 am Link I hope you are bringing an escort! Sep 08 06 02:59 am Link I've always said, I would never ask a model to do something that I wouldn't do myself. Sep 08 06 03:04 am Link John Jebbia wrote: Exactly! Sep 08 06 03:28 am Link Simply tell them that you NEED all those vest and hip pockets to be able to work efficiently. A room full of naked people is distracting enough as it is to someone who is used to conducting themselves professionally, and as a professional you require their courtesy of your working modus operandi, just as they require that the outside world respect and accept theirs. Ultimately it is up to you. Only you know what is and isn't worth putting up with. Sep 08 06 03:57 am Link As long as they let you wear something--a light metter, you won't feel so naked, LOL Sep 08 06 04:04 am Link This two of the differences between a amateur and a professional. One, a professional photographer would not get nekkid for any client in order to get the job done....Does your doctor get nekkid when they do a physical on you??? Come on. Two, a professional wouldn't even waste their time on such a stupid question. It would belittle them and the industry that they are in. It is a sophmoric question at best that has not value to anyone. M Sep 08 06 05:16 am Link Star wrote: TMI Star. TMI. Sep 08 06 05:26 am Link |
