Would a company claiming to be able to do all these things have a YAHOO account?

Among other things... you think he'd at least use a spell check.

Not to mention that Yahoo accounts in Europe don't end in .com
For instance, people in England are yahoo.co.uk, France is yahoo.co.fr, etc etc.
This's one of two things.  He's either going to try & hassle you in to nude photos or nude webcamming, or he'll send you something about how there's this GREAT job in Europe & they're going to send you money orders or checks, and you're supposed to cash them & then wire some of the money back to them to cover your travel expenses to go for a fashion show.
Either way, it's a scam.
If he was legit, he'd have a business e-mail and links to sites where his ID could be verified, and he'd give a physical business addresss & #.

The ONLY thing that's guaranteed about the message that you've received is that it's a scam.

There are TONS of messages in the model mayhem website that have already discussed the variations of the Nigerian 419 scam, and some of the 'agencies' you've mentioned (Bijornca).  The message you received is identical to many of the messages that Nigerain 419 scammers send out.

Absolutely. Aside from the bad spelling and grammer, anybody doing unsolicited emails like that knows they're likely to be considered a scam, and takes measures to prove they're the real thing- unless they ARE a scam!

Listen to the advice you have received here. The things that bother me about the email are:

1: Punctucation, spelling and grammer are terrible, not something you expect from a "Global Portal".

2: The yahoo email account is free, anyone can get one. A major international modeling interest would have a website and corporate email.

3: He didn't even give you the name of this company or who his "Sponsors" are.

Thats just three of many concerns I have about this guy. Models, ya'll seem to be a target for every kind of scam and perv out there. Thank God ya'll still have time for those of us who just want to create interesting pictures!
