Because Melanie King is far too modest to say anything about it herself, and because many of you know her work in front of the camera, I write to tell you all of Melanie's recognition by Ilford Photo of her work behind the camera.  Melanie just won second prize in Ilford's international postcard competition:

Ilford judged the entries not only for the photograph submitted, but for the quality of the print as well.  So Ilford's award recognizes Melanie's darkroom skills as well as her camerawork.  Her photograph, and those of the other winners, will be published in the next issue of EMULSION magazine.
