Edit... I thought you asked How not Why.

Yesterday was a bunch of fun and and there were some very insightful dialog going on. It was the most vibrant this place has been in quite a while.  A lot of different people discussing quite a variety of subjects. Today, well lets just say that the lowest form of common denominator is the rule of today. So I'm asking the questions typical of that common denominator.
