Camoflage - The New Black ?
One of my model /actress friends was in a panic the other day . She had nothing camoflage to wear to an audition ( for a military role in the L word ) So I said to her - I thought everyone had some camoflage in their wardrobe ...I mean its everywhere ...... Is this The MId East Wars influence on the Fashion World ? Sep 02 06 11:49 pm Link Garry k wrote: Could be. Support our troops? But for me, 3 months seems like a long time. I'd say denim shorts/skirts are far more common than I'd like to see. Nothing against denim, but a denim skirt, denim shorts, denim short-shorts, and long denims does not make for a complete set to a photo shoot. Sep 03 06 12:40 am Link camo is back indeed, and i had a wardrobe full already, my avatar shot is camo, rocks. Sep 03 06 12:46 am Link stop wearing it! I want to look unique wearing it like i did in 1983 LOL Sep 03 06 12:54 am Link Rue 99 wrote: I like the camo look, but the model has to have the right attitude for it to work. I have no desire to shoot demin shorts or skirts, especially if they are blue. I'm just tired of the look. At one time I had to wear it like it or not. Now it's somekind of fashion statement. Only I don't know what it is? I mean if you want to wear it that bad go join the military and REALLY make a statement! The other thing. Wearing jungle or dessert camo in the cities. Wouldn't it make more sense if you had parts of cars, newpapers, garbage and other city clutter printed on it? Then it would be real city camo. Who are you hiding from -- Richard Simmons? Sep 03 06 11:14 am Link for the less informed, in NYC, red is the new black camoflage apparently is still just making its way out to the nether regions of the fashion conscienous world i guess ;-) oh, and 40 is the new 30 and finally 13 is the new 11 Sep 03 06 11:22 am Link Chili wrote: And just in case you haven't heard..... Sep 03 06 05:48 pm Link Camo looks great on Marines, soldiers and duck hunters. On anyone else it looks pretentious.
