yup!  Just recently I rented a surfboard for a tfp shoot and the model didn't do the shoot and money went down the drain.  Other times I've purchased clothes for models who didn't follow through on a shoot.  I've driven two hours to do a shoot only to have models not show.  It makes me not put so much effort in future shoots for models whose reputation has not been etablished with me.

I don't hate it. It happens and things come up in life that can and will cause people to be late or even change their mind.

It's what you do after that happens that forms the character of who you are.

I think I have a old cube flash sitting around at the bottom of some drawer in the basement, you can borrow it if you like.   I might even have the 110 camera to go with it, what could be more professional than that?
