what do i wear to a nyc casting?

It's just a casting, wear the skirt and heels and a form fitting top of any kind it can be a T and wear a long sleeve shirt over it unbuttoned, No big hair- they will ask you to pull it back, shake it out etc if they want to see a different look. Remember at least in the TV commercial world you hope for 1 job for every 100 castings. Nothing screams un-experienced more then a girl walking in dressed head to toe in Mandees with everything matching 'just right.' (Of course, I'm not saying that's you... hehe) Keep things form-fitting - but not so tight it looks slutty. You want them to see you, not an outfit with way too much going on.
