That is it. I am just tired of girls who respond by rote to any and every casting call. I had a simple casting call up and still one of the girls later asked if there is pay. Oh and she is flying in from Chicago that night....

Ummm... Hello?

I am more confused than annoyed/

so please just read the post before you respond. I know this has been brought up in the past but we really need to go over this again,

I can do your hair but I gotta charge a kit fee.   Do you mind if I bring an escort?  A girl can never be too safe you know!

it's not that hard to read in general....or, wait, maybe most people are just illiterate....i have come to the conclusion that most people are unable to read casting calls, profiles, or even emails.......sigh..........
fortunately, there are just as many people who can't write....we'll just pair them up together and maybe those of us with some intelligence can simply converse with each other....

Ayup.

Have a casting call out there right now.  Going through the same deal.  Specific instructions not followed, but getting a few 'i'm interested, check my port lemme know' type responses.

I don't want to be mean, but should one conclude that if a model can't read a simple casting call and provide the information needed then they shouldn't be trusted to follow directions for the shoot and actually show up?

I love, love, LOVE it when a model and myself click on the communication front.  smile
