[Having photo's of yourself taken with a camera phone does not qualify you to call yourself a model.

]

Does it qualify you to be called a photographer then?  (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

With a main image of nude from waist up, hands over tits:
" I don't do nudes, don't even ask"

Several of us have had bets in terms of how long some local models will last before they start posting nudes............ its really quite humerous.

I am going to say..."photographer"! I think graphic artist would be a better term for alot of individuals. Might not be the most popular answer, but I see way too many crappy shots that have been saved via photoshop. Photoshop is a great tool, but too many overuse it and leave their images looking like cartoons. Yes I use photoshop...but I really try to use it as minimally as possible.

Okay, and how about "model"???

No, this is wrong: an ad hominem argument attacks the person rather than his or her argument.

"artistic"

If something is artistic- you dont have to tell your audience- they know it by looking.  On MM, artistic is largely a con that inexperienced photographers tell models to make them feel better about getting naked for their pictures.  Its also one unforunately that many non nude models buy into to start nude- and get tfp- instead of just shooting glam and gettin paid.

Not exactly - my American Heritage edition says ..."adhominem - attacking an opponenets character to avoid discussing the issues [Latin , to the man]"

Correct. And argumentum ad hominem seeks to render an argument null due to irrelevant reputation characteristics of the person arguing.

The intially provided definition is that of an Appeal to Emotion.

[Pedantic Note: Calling someone an "ass" in the middle of a debate is not an argumentum ad hominem. It's just a plain insult. Ad hominems focus on discrediting the implied qualifications necessary of the target.]

Hands down...

"MUAH!!!"

or

"MWAH!!!"

seconded ONLY by "photog" or (worse yet) "tog"

grrr...

Actually, and I know this a phrase rather than a word, but "Leave me some love!" tends to make me reach for the nearest baseball bat.
