Just upgraded Firefox. It's clunky
Just upgraded from an older version to V1.5.0.6 and it is very very clunky. Anyone else notice this? Aug 09 06 12:04 am Link Nothing to me. Maybe you need to update your extensions. Might be a conflict Aug 09 06 01:12 am Link Define clunky.. I'm still getting used to it here, but hadn't touched it since beta.. Aug 09 06 08:16 am Link If you want clunky, try Opera. Slightly less clunky is IE. FF is smooth like warm I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. Aug 09 06 08:57 am Link Firefox has it's good points: - The interface is easy to use, easier to do things than with IE (except for .asp pages!) - Firefox manages it's cache better and doesn't hide it There is a major drawback to Firefox, and that is that it uses a *lot* of memory in your system. If you have less than 1 GB of memory, Firefox runs very slowly... Aug 09 06 09:35 am Link I'm using Firefox V1.0.7, WinXP w/512MB RAM, and have no issues at all.....
