These questions are for photographers:

1)  How much do you charge for model portfolio packages and what do they include?

2)  If you rent out your studio, how much do you normally charge?

Depends on the model and portfolio package, but.... in general to make it easy:

$750/day rate for model portfolio development.

Includes:
- up to a 10 hour a day.
- lunch
- makeup & hair
- up to 3 styled looks
- up to 7 additional self provided looks
- cd of selected web sized images
- prints of model's selections at cost

All this either on location or at the studio... and if the model desires a portfolio review and consultation to help with ideas for her direction and style.

Studio 5 South is available at $150/day $75/half-day

Now, why did I just type all that?

Hey Girl,

Long Time.....

Why do you ask? You re-doing your portfolio or thinking of joining us on the other side of the lens?

No, I am not re-doing my portfolio, at least not right now smile   I am just doing research for a project to see what the average cost of a model portfolio package is and also find out what the average rate is for renting a studio across the country.

IF the post is about a photographer wanting pricing...then...

Y'all need to be careful about discussing rates in a public forum... you may be hounded by the FTC with allegations of price-fixing... just a thought... smile

If it's a model inquiring about prices...then it's a different story - maybe..but watch the government..those guys can make something out of nothing..LOL

I think it has to be a registered organization before you need to worry about that. ASMP and APA would be in trouble for discussing rates.
