How Nemi saved my life
Two weeks ago I was living out of my camera bag at a friend's cramped Brooklyn apartment because my neighborhood was powerless. After nearly a week without power and not shoot in sight, the tenuous threads holding together my sanity were straining, so I put up a casting call. The next day I got a call from Nemi Bea herself, wanting to make with the photos. She came over and we came up with an idea for a shoot--she would destroy several outfits that neither of us wanted (I had inherited some clothes from a friend, some of which were truly hideous). So we went out to industrial Long Island City and ripped apart some clothes. And all was good with the world. Mostly. Katie's awesome. Just look at the photos. The photos are very impressive and have a lot of energy and spontaneity -- they show what a great model and a great photography can do. And I agree -- the color is perfect. Very excellent work!
