Not asking who is the hottest, etc. But who is the best example of being able to show the widest range of emotions and poses, but mainly emotions.
thanks.

I'm gonna do it...I'm sorry...I know it sounds extremly arrogant...but I think I see the widest range of emotions in my own port. However I have seen others who still have better photos or other qualities that they surpass me in. I just think it's weird because I still get accused of having little variety. I've looked at a lot of other models and photographers ports, many models that are greatly revered on here and I still have to say I see a wider range of emotion in my own.

thanks.

So I did a recount and I got twelve for each of us. To me it seams like many of hers are more subtle which is why I originally thought I had more but is also a strength I would like to develope.

No  you don't have the wisdest range. I chose Josianne Junkie and Iranian Luv Goddess. I chose these two because for that reason. They have the widest range. It's their versatility too. not only do a wide range but they both can pull it off.

I'd like to mention a few...

Audra, love her style/expression/emotions and variety https://www.modelmayhem.com/pics.php?id=3925

Saffron https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=45564

Karen H https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=5621

Aprella https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=2418

I'm having a brain fade, there's a lot more out there that are very facially expressive.

Cheers!
Renee

Another nod for Katie.... I mean Nemi...  Not knocking anyone else's work.. But I've always been impressed with her range..  Hell people begged her to take some stuff down because the emotion it brought forth didn't match with what they thought she should be.. (Too Sexah, in other words..)

I have been trying to use more/different expressions when I am doing a shoot.  I was scrolling through the pictures of a shoot it did a few months ago and every picture, I had the same expression.  I don't want to be that girl anymore!!!

Susi, I love your portfolio!  You have some great images!

Excellent thread! It gets rather monotonous seeing the same facial expression over adn over again, no matter how strikingly gorgeous it is...

I think thats my weak spot... I just can't smile!  Well, I do great eye-smiles, but I lose it somewhere before it reaches my mouth adn it ends up forced... OH well...

Something to work at...

Anyone else got tips or thoughts for me?(HEY never pass up an opportunity to improve-and yes, I do a good bit of mirror work...)

Great topic

I know thats a weakness of mine... I can do great eye smiles but it stops before it reaches my mouth.. I have good range with pouts and stares though...

THats gotta be something....

But no matter how strikingly stunning a pose is it does get old after a bit...

All of the above because not once have I seen them nominate themselves in threads.
They also have a great range of emotions. smile

There's more, tons more. I'm just too damn lazy to look for them.

Totally agree with the Shyly nomination! I loves her smile

I've been trying to work on this myself. Attempting to look a little bit softer and get some more expression into the posing too. I think I have a variety of looks, but the expression is lacking.

There are a few girls on this site where it appears this sort of thing comes to them naturally. Damn them!

Or you could nominate yourself like I did...haha.  Hell, I've never nominated myself for anything before...guess it isn't cool but when have I been cool...I'm a geek!  lol.  And for the record, Envy has a great range!

Dunno... I also tend to think it helps if the photographer actually has a point to his/her photography.  There's no particular need for emotional range if all s/he's going to shoot is eye-candy glamour. I've certainly been asked to "rein it in" on occasion. As in acting, the actor gives as much as the director wants/needs for the particular scene.

I haven't done a research on the subject but I'm always surprised how Alexandria surpass my expectations, every single time.

A lot of different expressions is not the same as a range of emotions!

(Quiet and subtlety is often more effective than overexpression.)

Sorry apple, but Nemi (aka Katie) blows you out of the water when it comes to emotion.

If you wanna see her real pissed refuse to buy her a drink at the pool hall, I still got a bruise from that night!
