Which model has best range of emotions shots?
Not asking who is the hottest, etc. But who is the best example of being able to show the widest range of emotions and poses, but mainly emotions. thanks. Jul 31 06 01:26 pm Link I'm gonna do it...I'm sorry...I know it sounds extremly arrogant...but I think I see the widest range of emotions in my own port. However I have seen others who still have better photos or other qualities that they surpass me in. I just think it's weird because I still get accused of having little variety. I've looked at a lot of other models and photographers ports, many models that are greatly revered on here and I still have to say I see a wider range of emotion in my own. Jul 31 06 01:31 pm Link You know what, you might be right. Great range of expressions. Bring your legs here and I'll shoot em! thanks. I still count more on my own. Jul 31 06 01:56 pm Link Marksora wrote: Copycat. Jul 31 06 02:09 pm Link So I did a recount and I got twelve for each of us. To me it seams like many of hers are more subtle which is why I originally thought I had more but is also a strength I would like to develope. Jul 31 06 02:24 pm Link I got your range right here baby;-) Jul 31 06 02:32 pm Link So far all three of the models who have posted here have great emotionial range... Ok 2 posted and 1 mentioned. Jul 31 06 02:33 pm Link Susi wrote: you do have great range. I'd like to see you do sad. I think you'd do a hot sad. Jul 31 06 02:46 pm Link little apple blossom wrote: haha...thanks, I'll keep sad in mind;-) Jul 31 06 02:49 pm Link little apple blossom wrote: No you don't have the wisdest range. I chose Josianne Junkie and Iranian Luv Goddess. I chose these two because for that reason. They have the widest range. It's their versatility too. not only do a wide range but they both can pull it off. Jul 31 06 03:26 pm Link I don't know about Josianne Junkie, but I'm a fan of IranianLuvGoddess!! Jul 31 06 03:43 pm Link Susi, As far as I'm concerned you have an AMAZING range of facial expressions, absolutely amazing. Jul 31 06 03:47 pm Link I try... Jul 31 06 03:50 pm Link I'd like to mention a few... Audra, love her style/expression/emotions and variety https://www.modelmayhem.com/pics.php?id=3925 Saffron https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=45564 Karen H https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=5621 Aprella https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=2418 I'm having a brain fade, there's a lot more out there that are very facially expressive. Cheers! Renee Jul 31 06 03:53 pm Link Not me I am a one look wonder This lass is rather talented https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=33108 This lass is another https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=45564 And I agree on Nemi Bee and Shyly too. Jul 31 06 03:54 pm Link Certainly not me ... hahaha. What an irony! Jul 31 06 03:55 pm Link Another nod for Katie.... I mean Nemi... Not knocking anyone else's work.. But I've always been impressed with her range.. Hell people begged her to take some stuff down because the emotion it brought forth didn't match with what they thought she should be.. (Too Sexah, in other words..) Jul 31 06 03:57 pm Link Hmm..might not have a wide range, but I think I`m smileing in atleast one picture! Jul 31 06 03:58 pm Link After taking everyone's votes into consideration... I think Audra is my favorite... and she's edgy and gorgeous... Jul 31 06 05:14 pm Link I have been trying to use more/different expressions when I am doing a shoot. I was scrolling through the pictures of a shoot it did a few months ago and every picture, I had the same expression. I don't want to be that girl anymore!!! Susi, I love your portfolio! You have some great images! Jul 31 06 05:18 pm Link Excellent thread! It gets rather monotonous seeing the same facial expression over adn over again, no matter how strikingly gorgeous it is... I think thats my weak spot... I just can't smile! Well, I do great eye-smiles, but I lose it somewhere before it reaches my mouth adn it ends up forced... OH well... Something to work at... Anyone else got tips or thoughts for me?(HEY never pass up an opportunity to improve-and yes, I do a good bit of mirror work...) Mimi Jul 31 06 10:08 pm Link Great topic I know thats a weakness of mine... I can do great eye smiles but it stops before it reaches my mouth.. I have good range with pouts and stares though... THats gotta be something.... But no matter how strikingly stunning a pose is it does get old after a bit... Jul 31 06 10:10 pm Link Nihilus wrote: All of the above because not once have I seen them nominate themselves in threads. Jul 31 06 10:41 pm Link < happy Jul 31 06 10:50 pm Link Totally agree with the Shyly nomination! I loves her I've been trying to work on this myself. Attempting to look a little bit softer and get some more expression into the posing too. I think I have a variety of looks, but the expression is lacking. There are a few girls on this site where it appears this sort of thing comes to them naturally. Damn them! Aug 01 06 04:01 am Link Envy wrote: Or you could nominate yourself like I did...haha. Hell, I've never nominated myself for anything before...guess it isn't cool but when have I been cool...I'm a geek! lol. And for the record, Envy has a great range! Aug 01 06 06:12 am Link Jeff Marsh wrote: You should check out my port...not saying that I'm the best, but i do specialize in facial expressions more than anything. Aug 01 06 09:18 am Link Dunno... I also tend to think it helps if the photographer actually has a point to his/her photography. There's no particular need for emotional range if all s/he's going to shoot is eye-candy glamour. I've certainly been asked to "rein it in" on occasion. As in acting, the actor gives as much as the director wants/needs for the particular scene. Aug 01 06 09:38 am Link I wouldn't have guessed out of all the models mentioned, my favorite would be Aprella! Aug 01 06 10:30 am Link Depends on the time of the month but I have some very emotional models in my port... Aug 01 06 10:36 am Link I haven't done a research on the subject but I'm always surprised how Alexandria surpass my expectations, every single time. https://modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=50644 Here is sample of one session: https://www.modelmayhem.com/posts.php?thread_id=57443 and some shots Cheers Wolf Aug 01 06 10:58 am Link i most certainly agree with most of those already mentioned.....there is so much talent on this site that i can't even begin to list everyone....but i must mention Lapis, as no one seems to have done so: https://modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=3290 Aug 01 06 07:58 pm Link A lot of different expressions is not the same as a range of emotions! (Quiet and subtlety is often more effective than overexpression.)
