If you are paying a model her full rate (or close to it), do you also give her copies of any of your files for her use?

I am different than most people, although I rarely do TFP.  The bottom line though is that for me, a model has choice of being paid money or provided images.  Given a choice, I prefer to just pay them in money.

That having been said though, whenever I shoot a model for pay, I will normally, as a courtesy, send her a few (2-5) hi-res images that she can print for her book or put up on her promotional site (Those are the only rights she gets).

Models live by tear sheets and references.  While a non-published image is not a tear, it adds to her book to get the quality images that normally come from a paid commercial booking.

So I do it because it is a courtesy, not a requirement.  Beyond that, if she wants more images, that is negotiated.  Sometimes I can't even do it because of obligations to the client.
