I'm looking to get into an agency for commercial work.  What's the best way to get through the door?

Thanks,
C

1st decide which agencies would be the best.
2nd call them and find out when their open calls are.
3rd dress cute (not a formal deal), no need for any pics
if they turn ya down go to the next agency on your list.

easy huh

Commercial is a slight bit different than that...  Cobra has kindly quoted you the standard "New Faces" procedure, which in NYC is all high fashion runway.

For commercial you'll need to specifically ask each agency what they prefer to do for commercial models and who to contact to interview with their commercial division.

Commercial modeling is also the time when a good book of previous work comes in handy.

Looking at your current book, here on MM, you may want to try both New faces and commercial however.  Start with New faces.
